...is being organized by Ida Duplantier, MA. Ida is a recent graduate of Northwestern University who, in her last term of graduate school for counseling, decided she didn't have enough to do and should organize a festival.
But seriously though...
What began as the thought that there weren't as many networking opportunities or in-person continuing education events for counselors as there was prior to the pandemic led her to consider organizing a conference for mental health providers. She imagined a conference where she could provide a platform for more niche topics in the field and bring in experts and educators that would truly advance and reinvigorate the mental health space in St. Louis. But do people really want to spend their weekends at a conference?
What about a festival?
And why shouldn’t anyone be able to come, listen, engage, and learn?
